"This definitely takes you to another world" I've re-read this book at least twice, and it gets better each time. You feel the character's pain and joy, and the author does such a great job of describing the setting that you feel like you're there! My only complaint is that the sequel has not yet been published.

This books fits into my personal top five fantasy novels. It's extremely vivid due to all the details: not just the enchanting descriptions of places, but also attention to little emotional quirks that make all the characters come alive.

It's a deep, complex, and heart-wrenching story that pulls you in and doesn't let go, even when you reached the end. I too wish with all my heart there were a sequel... As is, the story remains unfinished and too many lines still require a resolution.
