“Down the Road We Came” is the second book of Robert Hewett Sr. I would highly recommend this book for all ages. It was a comfort to me, and took me away to treasured memories he shared and mystical enchanting stories written in poetic rhyme. I picked up the book and off I went on a voyage to faraway lands with animal characters and fabulous adventures. The stories are a true delight and have magical quality as well. Some of the stories were from his childhood and certainly were heirloom treasures to be enjoyed by all. This will be a delightful collection to read to my Grandchildren.
