The amount of research and effort put into the content of this book is very apparent. This is probably the best book on drawing people I've ever owned, and I own a lot of them! I definitely recommend this to any artist.

It is best book that I ever found about drawing. Clear and simple. You must have this book if you want (or like) to draw people. Even though I knew a lot about drawing I learned a lot and I will use it as a reference book in the future. Joumana Medlej made the guide sets that I have searched for years when I was trying to learn how to draw. I really thank him.

Unequivocally the best guide to human drawing that money can buy. As well as breaking down basic anatomy (without the confusion of detailed muscular guides like you might see in a medical book), the book has subsections on each body part--including extra large sections on those devilish hands and feet. Her guide to expressions is by far the best I've seen, including huge maps of each "section" of facial expression--it's invaluable for illustration or comic drawing. Finally, the huge ethnic groups section in the back is invaluable if you're trying to accurately portray people of different races. Even though all of cedarseed's tutorials are available online for free, having them easily accessible at your fingertips is well worth the cover price--there's no substitute for being able flip between, say, an expression and an ethnicity at a moment's notice.

"Amazing!" Absolutely wonderful. I've never been able to quite pin down the difference between ethnicities in drawing. This helps amazingly. And the expression guide! Pure love.
