This novel is billed as a “riveting Sci-Fi read” on the front cover, and I believe it lived up to it as far as being a fascinating read. Certain themes are woven into the storyline nicely as well: themes such as the importance of self-reliance, dignity for all life forms, perseverance, etc. Yet, the reader isn’t browbeaten by the moral lessons; instead, they’re woven into the plot fairly seamlessly. I am a Sci-Fi fan. This book has some innovative plot features I haven't seen in a book before. I care enough about Axreal and Jerish that I want to know what happens to them in the future. Realy good book.
Charming...great use of vocabulary...timely...unique style. Thanks Robert and Joanne.
"A new twist"
i have to admit when i first started to read the book it was a bit skeletal at first. but it did quickly become full of life. i found myself engrossed in the world of Eclipsia. the characters are very unique an have a life of their own. i quickly became attached to two particular support characters. this book reminds me in my minds eye of a mix between the DUNE series as well as the chronicles of riddickm but with a real amusing and funny note to it. the villian was very quite commical to me and greatly enjoyed reading the antics of such a pompous character. this is not just a book for adults but for the whole family! great work!! cant wait for the next installment in the series! i give this book a 5 out of 5 star rating!

This book really hit home with me. I can really relate to the main characters. I wish more books had this kind of humor. It's not very often that you can "enjoy" the villain. There are valuable lessons in the story for everyone. It pulls at your heart strings and tugs at your emotions. It's very prophetic. I can't remember the last time I read a book this good.
