"Re: Looking for a good Mollier Chart and Steam Table" These tables do not contain a Mollier Chart but the data tables are great for solving problems in thermodynamics.

The chart dates to an era when even ordinary calculators were not comman and so they were a great aid to solving problems such as tracing points on a constant entropy line. However since reading graphs can never be as accurate as reading data off a table, nowadays many Professors encourage students to use the tables and a calculator to solve problems.

Some physical visualisation of a process is possible on the chart but the mollier chart is not very effective for that being an h-s diagram with both co-ordinates being abstrat derived properties. A process or cycle is easier to appreciate on a T-s diagram since engineers can grasp the value of temperature readily.
