"England Ponderings and Reflections" In reading Charmiene's book, England Ponderings and Reflections, I was transported to times and places where Life seems to move at a slower speed. The subtle details evoked of a town, person or simple birds, take on a rich and meaningful presence. As she tells her personal journey through these small stories with both lightness and depth, she reveals meaning from these varied subjects that take one into the heart and soul of England, and beyond.

"Reflections of England- check it out" Although she doesn't say this in her bio, the author is a highly gifted intuitive. This reflects strongly in her work, not through any kind of psychic reference, but for their insightful, yet compassionate observations of people, places and life in general. A gifted writer, she takes you into her world with humor, without snarkiness. I recommend this not only for Anglophiles, but for anyone who loves books- seeing the world through another's eyes, their own particular world view is what it is all about. I've enjoyed every one of this author's works-just wish they were longer.

"A really honest and beautiful compilation" The author captures the spirit of real people, real issues and real scenery in an honest and thought provoking style. This book of topical and personal narratives covers a range of subjects - Charmiene does not hide her own sentiments in these interesting observations - it is a reminder to us all not to be afraid of showing and sharing feelings.

"Great book!" Being English myself and living in another country - I could really relate and enjoy the narratives about England. It brought memories back to me. The author has a very personable style of writing that draws the reader into these lovely stories - she expresses feelings, characters and scenery with a perceptive insight that warms the heart. I also like her style of candour and honesty.
