"Equal to the Earth"
I got my copy of Equal to the Earth and have had time to read it. Very impressive work. I particularly liked the Fire Island series at the end and specially the last stanza of 7. Fire Island. I guess that's what we all hope for. And the poem Floor Tiling where the “two designs coexisted. “ Each of your books has seemed to me to be a step ahead, a progression; more concentrated and therefore increasingly interesting to read. So I enjoyed Equal to the Earth very much and am waiting for the next.

"Jee on paper"
After writing with Jee, being critiqued by Jee and critiquing Jee online for years, it is a great pleasure to read him on paper, in a full volume demonstrating his wide range, his vulnerable, even unique combination of detailed earthiness and gentle lyricism.
I am glad I bought two copies in case: one is now dog-eared throughout. To select two --
Chapter Six: Anal Sex
and
Ten Poems on the Plum Blossom.
In the first, he gives us rough tough explicit lines and transforms it all at the end into the most amazing gentle tribute to love. In the second, poetic beauty is an overlay for naked lust.
This is Jee -- I recommend him to every discerning reader of poetry.
