"A thought provoking read "
After reading this book I found myself asking the question... what would a book about my life be like? Would I have made similar decisions? Would I have made similar sacrifices? I found this book to be something of a revelation to me. Brian was a public figure in Ireland for many years and I had been interested in his books. But I had no idea that his whole life since he was a young boy reflected a desire to reach the highest principles.

He gave up a substantial inheritance in order to lead a life that valued freedom more than money. He went to prison rather than see someone be abused. He gave up his celebrity status as an Irish writer when,... More > extraordinarily, he began to convey to others a completely unique and developing understanding about leading a spiritual life. This book confirmed for me that Brian was a "true blue". Brian's life stands up to the closest scrutiny and I believe he attained a goal that few people have reached before. Jim Bruce's telling of Brian's story is a complete pleasure to read. If you are looking for an example of how to live a life that really served God, then read the memoir of "A Faithful Servant"

"Fathful Servant-A Memoir of Brian Cleeve" What a fantastic biography of a man who's sole ambition throughout it all was to carry out the will and good graces our our creator. What a wonderful lesson is that of finding truth and guidance through TRULY listening to the word of God. This worderfully written book gives inspiration to those who might otherwise dismiss the wonder of our own creation in this time as commonplace. I truly look forward to reading "The House On The Rock." I would like to encourage others to do the same. God Bless!

"Faithful Servant by Jim Bruce" I recently had the pleasure of reading Jim Bruce's book, Faithful Servant. It was beautifully written - a well documented memoir of a truely amazing man. I found the content to be inspirational and thought provoking, capturing the essence of Brian Cleeve with intuitiveness and great skill. I look forward to reading more of Jim Bruce's work.
