"More Than a Horror Novel"
Horror not being my chosen genre, I reluctantly picked up James Gurley's book during a 'writers block' moment. A good read usually spurs me on to get back the lap top and start bashing the keys. Gurleys book reeled me in from the first few pages with his portrayal of the character Father Blood and his wonderful descriptions. (Occasionally a little over elaborate.)
Gurley takes the reader on a journey to find a miter which could save the planet from the evil Demon Spawn. His book is well researched, set in the future and a very compelling read. The book takes the reader from America to Africa over desert and mountain and on to the secret hidden location of... More > the miter in Cartagena in Spain. Will father blood succeed in his mission against the Demon Spawn or will he succumb to the ultimate temptation? I guess you'll have to buy the book to find out.
