"Even Better than the Issue #1!"
I can't say enough about how outstanding this product is. It's packed with great ideas, advice, and adventures for your campaign. Exploring Gabor Lux's contribution, "The Tower of Birds," feels like you're adventuring in a Robert E. Howard story. Vincent Baker's "The Monster Machine" article is loaded with creative ideas for coming up with novel monsters and encounters. There's even the entire first level of a megadungeon included in "The Darkness Beneath." I can't wait to get the second level of that one in the next issue. James Raggi's "Random Inn Generator" turns an uneventful stay into an adventure all to itself. James Maliszewski and Victor Raymond... More > tag-team for two articles on designing sandbox-style wilderness maps and adventures for your campaign, and they hit it out of the park. There are bunches of interesting and new magical items, and the art is top notch. The list goes on and on (for 88 pages!)

If you play D&D, regardless of edition, you really owe it to yourself to pick up one of these. I think you'll find it to be the finest old-school product of the year. < Less
