Author, Mr. Aleksander Jankovic Potocnik is an expert for fortifications in Slovenia. His specialties definitely are: The Rupnik Line and the Alpine Wall "Vallo Alpino". He has discovered the Rupnik Line practically by his own.
So as all other books written by him, also this one is dedicated to fortresses in this part of Europe. But beside "only describing the fortifying objects", he finds good explanations, why they were built there. He always describes historical backgrounds for them.
The book is definitely worth reading. I recommend it strongly.
