Lela LaBree Stute’s pug adventure books are books that all pug owners and\or lovers will enjoy. They are based on the three pug sisters Cissy, Bea (Beatrice), and Ingah DuPonte. Their humorous adventures will make readers of all ages laugh. I read these books to my two younger brothers and we all really liked how amusing the stories and pictures were. Review of Freedom Pugs by Lela LaBree Stute The Pugs are back in a new adventure! Freedom Pugs by Lela LaBree Stute is a fantastic tale of three pugs who do not want to go back to school. Summer break is over and they decide to take off on an adventure instead of heading to class. Boy did they find themselves in a mess! Freedom Pugs is a story that young readers can relate to. We all know how hard it can be for kids to adjust from the fun of Summer, back to the hustle and bustle of the school year. This book gives the impression that “school is cool”, and bad things can happen if they don’t go and follow the rules. It teaches a valuable lesson in a fun way.
