From Which Place the Morning Rises represents a new batch of creative, imagistic poems since the author and his last book, The Lost American: From Exile to Freedom. Most of the poems were written right in the picturesque small village of Itasca, Illinois were the poet resides. Some of the poems are on the dark side, many are about nature written about the birds and landscape right off the balcony of the author’s condo.
