"Geeks Bearing Gifts"
I received Ted’s Book: Geeks Bearing Gifts on January 15 at my Post Office Box in the Bull Hills, Montana. During the course of a Montana white out snow storm I was watching. After supper, I opened the book and begin to read. I read through the night and by 7 AM. I am writing my review.

Important to me issues flashed in my mind during my reading based upon my experiences. My last heavy flash was a name I recognized stemming nearly at the end of this book I was reading.

I realized this book was not just about Geeks. I felt the growing importance of what I had read. And more importantly this new opportunity before me... More > and other readers who want the insight presented in the so called computer world along with other interests like mine.

I can’t speak for other readers but I can express to other readers the referenced value of Geek Bearing Gifts. It has already given me a super charge for my own set path I choose back in the early 60s.

I see a way to read and participate to clear up difficulties I have in using my personal computer next to a way to maybe get the stuff I want to work with as I drive my own machine. To me it does not matter what profession you are in. Or if you a just a reader like me that likes to compare notes with the history of computing along the time line of experiences mine and in this case Ted’s. I say buy the book, even if it is just to see how Bill Gate’s – The Geek – started Microsoft and retired to deal with Poverty. -30- WKF©
