I have downloaded the examples zip file and something seems to be wildly out of synch when running the mvn compile. Classes & methods in the book are not in the 2.0.1-incubating jar. Can you tell me how to get the version of Click that corresponds with the book? Peace, Scott

Nice Book. I wish it had a ISBN, so that I could rate it an buy it from Amazon for the entire team since I have a big coupon there :). I think it might be a good idea to move the examples to github, and update them constantly, to be able to keep them up to date, because even if your book refers to one version of Click (the latest at writing this), after a will, even if using your book, the readers will still try it with a newer Click version.

I bought the ebook primarily for the Apache Shiro integration chapter, but was delighted to find the entire book approachable, informative, and helpful getting me up to speed quickly on the Click framework basics. When I ran into a problem due to a just-released version of Shiro, the author was quick to respond and help resolve. Software moves fast, so I welcome shorter (and cheaper) ebooks which can be more focused, planned out, and go beyond the scope possible in a blog post, but are *not* bogged down trying to cover every possible topic and screen shot in order to fill up 400 pages in a $49.95 tome.

I could not update the examples until Apache Shiro had a release. They finally have, so I have updated the examples. Please download examples.zip from http://www.fdaoud.com/clickbook. Thank you for your patience! I hope you enjoy the book.

Very good book. The author is clearly talented in writing technical books/documentation and making concepts easy to understand (see his book about Stripes Framework too). I wish he would write more books that cover Click (maybe with Cayenne?). I too, subscribe to the need of an ISBN even if it makes the price higher (maybe for the second edition of this book?)
