Hugh Hamilton’s photographic record of the Enderby Wildfowlers’ shooting season with images from both the English and Poland countryside. His classic documentary photographs provide a realistic view of people who enjoy the British countryside, but the primary concern of this photographic project is to examine those who have a "good reason" to own and handle firearms within this space. These images document the resulting leisure pursuits, which have their own established mythology rooted in a sense of place, but are also inherently unfashionable within globalised post-industrial cultures.
