"Happy Kids, Happy Dogs" As an attorney, I was delighted to read such a well-researched and user-friendly book on dogs and children. The many examples and specific training tips make it easy to implement, and our family has benefitted tremendously from this book.

It is obvious, and refreshing, that the author has real-world experience and applied a hand's on approach when writing it. If you have kids, or are going to have them you definitely need to read this book.

"Happy Reader" I've owned my dog Bear for six years, and this book has the best dog training tips, advice, and philosophy of anything I've read. That it also helps me prepare my house and my dog for the future when I may have kids is just a bonus. Shumannfang clearly knows what she's talking about and has a passion for ensuring both kids and dogs are safe and happy. She outlines easy to follow dog training instructions and tips that anyone can learn. A must read for any dog owner.

"Finally a book with answers that really work! *****" With over 13 years experience in assisting rescue canines and their new owners, I am excited to see this wonderful book finally hit the stands. Happy Kids, Happy Dogs not only has the answers in solving issues with canines but Shumannfang has given us explicit details (in word as well as excellent photos) in clearly recognizing the warning signs so many people ignore from their pets. Her kind and positive method makes re-training fun for everyone and a snap to do. This book is a breeze to read and most of us will be slapping our forehead and saying "Why didn't I think of this before?". All parents-to-be (actually any owner) should be encouraged to read this marvelous primer. Kudos and six stars!

"An absolute must read!" As a veterinarian, I frequently get questions from clients about how to integrate a dog with a new baby. Now I finally have a wonderful resource for clients who are either expecting or have children. This book provides excellent information on how to make your dog a safe and positive member of the family. Shumannfang's training suggestions are easy to follow and extremely intuitive. This is an absolute must read!
