"Awesone Turbocharger Information"
This book has the best turbocharger information I have seen. It also includes other stuff, but the turbocharger information is what I really needed. The author makes it easy to understand how to select a turbocharger, and how much power you can expect to get from different turbochargers. In one chapter he explains things better than I have seen in entire books devoted to turbochargers. It includes practical stuff too, like selecting compression ratio, how to eliminate spark knock, how to make it flow, everything you need to know about turbocharging an engine. There is plenty of detail right down to the formulas if you want to get that deep into it. It is... More > still very clear, even if you don't want to get into that much detail. It includes clear explanations of terms, such as volumetric efficiency. There is an Excel spreadsheet included that works great. It is worth the cost of the book just for the Excel spreadsheet and the instructions how to use it! It does not just apply to Fieros. This book is a MUST HAVE for ANYONE putting a TURBOCHARGER into ANY CAR! < Less

"A must have for the Fiero enthusiast considering an engine swap or turbo" The book documents a father-son build of a very unique Fiero. They first replaced the 2.8V6 engine with a 3.4V6. They then experimented with various turbo configurations, and chip programming. Finally, they ditch the V6 and put in a LS1V8 with nitrous that puts out 508 horsepower. But, the real story is in the author's attention to detail. Wagoner documented every step, and includes many graphs and tables on weights, air-flow, horsepower, part sources and costs. The book also includes dozens of photos and clear wiring diagrams for mating an LS1 engine to the Fiero wiring harness. There are a lot of other tidbits of information on reducing weight and improving handling. (The book does not document the history of Fieros, or model variations) Well worth the $12.95 for the information I learned, and I have already made a few modifications to my Fiero as a result.

"High Performance Fieros" This book has a lot of good information not found in other books. For example, I have not found the weight comparison of the engines anywhere else. Also, the information on engine VE parameters is totally new.

It also has very good detail about how to install the LS1 engine, and how to turbocharge an engine. Much of this information would apply to other cars, not just Fieros.
