"Honest, Is Honestly Awesome!" Honest, The Martian Ate Your Dog is a fantastic and unique story. Farook paints a fabulous universe of Human, Aliens and Dogs. One thing I personally love is the use of old Science Fiction cliches in new and mind blowing ways.

The style of Honest has a constant lighthearted and comedic feel. The Comedy is neither too goofy nor forced. The most important thing, is when you read it, you don't want to stop. The sign of any great book.

Overall, this book is a must have for any classic or modern science fiction fan.

"A Lot of Fun!"
Honest, the Martian Ate Your Dog is a fun romp through a world that is like-our-own-yet-not. It follows, mainly, the story of Normal Kint, a guy who's just trying to get back his girl's dog before Kerr (a Martian)eats it so she doesn't beat the stuffing out of him! The book is funny and at times insightful, and reminded me very much of Douglas Adams's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

But the story doesn't only follow Normal Kint. It also follows the story of a dozen clones and Normal's boss (who's a midget with a nasty temper). In fact, there are a lot of characters in this relatively short story, so make sure you pay attention! Farook's prose is fairly tight... More > and punishes the careless reader.

As Normal goes through the story, it becomes apparent that he, his boss, and Kerr aren't after just any ordinary dog. . .

I think the best part of the entire story is Farook's insight into odds and ends of life a la Adams. Many of the insights are nestled in clever footnotes.

The book itself is well constructed and there are very few typographical errors. < Less

"wonderful, " I read some of your work, and indeed I found plenty of humor. Poor Ringo, the dog....(smile). I wish you continued success in your writing. Christa

I must say it is a very interesting book for students who prepare a thesis proposal.
