This book is AWESOME! Of course I would say that since I am the author. :^) Seriously, I hope all of you enjoy my stories and the goofy photos of me and my family. They came to good use after all. These are some touching stories of my childhood struggles living in the hills of Kentucky. We never had inside plumbing, electric heat or a/c, rarely did we ever own a car, plus we spent 6 long hard depressing years living in a one-room schoolhouse which still stands today is now owned by my Uncle George. My dad was a very hard worker but rarely held a job because there are very few jobs available in Eastern Kentucky. I truly want to thank my parents and my family for inspiring me. After all, there would be no stories without them! Also I want to thank my special cousin (who's like a brother) Alonzo for being an inspiration. I have always looked up to him. May people see that smart people do exist in KY!!! LOL May God bless my family and friends...thanks again! :)
