Pitching in high level competition is as exciting, mentally challenging and physically demanding as any experience in sports. But few players will ever achieve the dream of taking the mound in a Major League uniform without building a solid foundation in proper pitching mechanics and preparation and developing strength and flexibility. A young player will take an important step toward acquiring confidence and building necessary skills by following the training techniques and conditioning methods described and carefully illustrated in “In Pursuit of Pitching Perfection.” Co-Authors Dave McKae and Nick Pereira are former minor league baseball players in the San Francisco Giants and Boston Red Sox organizations.
