"A great alternative to taking the in class course"
After two weeks of studying in my free time using this course (mostly the online content) I was able to pass my ITIL Foundation exam on my first attempt. The material is covered well, for the most part, by the online content but don't neglect the book as it fills in the gaps and drills deeper into the processes.
Be sure to make full use of the sample questions and exams as many of the questions (as you will see) could trip you up.
An overall great buy, considering how much the in class courses cost!

This pdf book was my only reference(except online sources) to pass ITIL V3 foundation last year,2009.
Pros:
This book is well organized and covers all the topic required. The language has been simple and content is very much optimized for ready reference.
Cons:
At times it could have been more collaborative.
