The Jagdalack book is a collection of paintings. A series of wordless images that came about as I, like him, set out on a search. His an adventure for a home. Mine for developing a manner of painting that would allow the finished piece to retain the energy of the act of creation. These images are evidence of that exploration. By taking a big, red, eye-flecked beast and placing him amongst abstract shapes, tangible, playful environments emerged. Contemplating this world, the Jagdalack and I sought to find solace in swirls of paint. The story is a simple search for meaning.
