"Re: Where is euphoria?"
I appreciate the honest review! Thank you! When I read my poems, I don't think of them as depressing, but perhaps anger did sneak in there. Yes, they are pretty obscure, but the idea was that they would be. It was the wordplay and the overall feeling of a line that I was going for - originally. But I can either tell you a cliche ("to each their own") or stand up for my work. However, I admit that this is definitely not my best work. I am currently working on a second book of more straight forward, topical poetry - experiments with form and subjects. I don't think I can stray far from what I call 'nonsensical poetry', though. It's the kind of poetry that I personally like to read. Thank you again for your constructive criticism and consideration!
"Where is euphoria?"
It delivers a kick to the shins, but a depressing and angry kick. I don't understand how you call this a euphoric collection of poems. Also, the concepts of your poems are so obscure; what is the message?
