Little Prisons is a collection of confessional poems and rants. Themes include: Queer identity, gender issues, sexual abuse, homelessness, isolation, depression and self-destruction. This is a heavy read.
This collection of poetry is amazingly and utterly "raw". the uses of symbolism, metaphors, and mythology are painfully precise. the author's way of serving the blackest and filthiest of dishes of human life in the most intellectual and perfectly descriptive way, is both awesome and humbling.
it is not everyday you come across a collection of writings you can see yourself between its words.
