"An ancient philosophy translated for a modern world!!" I really enjoyed reading this book. The first time I read it, I found a sense of peace and the idea that I, as an individual, can make a difference in people's lives by the way I treat them. That sounds simple, like we already know this, but somehow it's been forgotten. In turn, those acts will enrich my life. I find myself still going back to it and re-reading certain pages. The quotes laced throughout are very simple, but induce a great deal of thought. One can take that thought to as deep a level as you wish or have time for. I found myself pausing frequently and thinking about my own life and situations that could serve as examples of his ideas for living. It seems that Mr. Blankson was a philosophical thinker from a very early age. There is an example from his tender age of 7 years. I will be keeping this book close by, as that will allow for frequent reference.
