Overall Content of the book is fine. Which is what's important, however, nothing for the Back-end Developer. Poorly published. Pagination looks off with page numbers on the inside of the spine. So difficult to find the page you want. Secondly, glossary page numbers do not match up with content of book. Index page numbers seem to be in place. Overall. Poorly Published. Very disappointed.
I am real disappointed with this book. For one thing the page numbers are in the binding rather than on the edge. But the real problem is, this is a book of Screen Captures and instructions. If you have any knowledge of filling in a web form then you know this book. I know that I would put a Name in the field called “Name”… What I need to know is what the areas are actually going to produce. Or what needs to be done to accomplish a task. Try to find How to Add a Price plan to a Tier Pricing. The book is a total waste of the money.
Brilliant book for the end user, which is the targeted audience here. I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about when talking about quality, it's not gloss full colour, but it does exactly what it needs to. I really recommend this book to anyone that needs to know how to use Magento. Developers have other resources available to them to learn.

Delivery time was pretty decent, but the overall quality of the printed book was shockingly bad. The cover is great, but when you open it, its been printed on the most eco-setting of all, on the worst paper (cheap-as-chips from the corner store). Print quality is extremely poor and would not recommend purchasing this.

I just ordered mine and despite the reviews about was pleasantly surprised. I buy lots of technical books each each and this is good as any in terms of quality. Probably the only criticism is that the book itself seems to waste a lot of paper as I think its printer in US Letter size so there is tons of white space on each page
Other than that though - pretty good
