I really enjoyed reading (and sketching in) this amazing unbook! Marks and Meaning is an important boundary object that binds together information architecture, visual literacy, creativity, and strategic thinking. Thanks Dave (and friends) for sharing this artifact of play in progress. -- Peter Morville

I thought, shouldn't this just be online?, but I bought it based on the intrique factor and Dave's blog. In reality, there is still something delicious about a book in you hand. Knowing this is like a journal of musings is fine, great, fluid -- and I felt I could dare to write all over it since it was not done! Really, you can't describe it well except to say you want to find a way to participate and print it out every quarter... great experiment!
