The autobiography paints some very funny scenes of family life and growing up in a neighborhood he calls "The nickname capital of the world." He also relates his antics in school, his days as a Brooklyn Dodgers fan, Army life, his crazy-ass friends, surviving cancer, dealing with retirement and luncheons with many famous media darlings of publishing and television.

Wow, Anthony, what a great read. Once I started I couldn't put it down. "Memoirs..." brings back many memories of PS4, LICHS and later my own daily drive into Manhattan and the rat race.
Mrs. Nagin, Mr. Brickman, Mrs. Mulvehill ... great recall. I also remember Mr. Taite(sp?), a very refined gentleman, always impeccably dressed he would constantly check his gold vest pocket watch. I was sure he was checking so he didn't miss his train.
I'm glad to see that despite at times a challenging life, you've managed to keep that big smile and sense of humor.
