I'm slightly biased because I helped to write the book but I really believe it's a great achievement by Del. I think people who read it will realise that you have to make the most out of life and focus on the positives. Through the sale of Memories Never Die we're hoping to raise £1,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Memories Never Die: I am not a book reader normally but I really enjoyed this book. Honestly and modestly written by Del and close pal Jerry. Humorous tales of the highs and lows of his football career including playing for England schoolboys alongside Ryan Giggs, playing for Spurs and in USA then coaching and managing non-league clubs. Then his life outside football including his jobs, plus his gambling and money problems. How he met Emma the love of his life, even then it was not all plain sailing. Then there was his horrendous experience of being diagnosed with MND and yet another shock. Del delves briefly into potential causes of MND and links to possible links with sport. With the love and support of wife Emma and his other close friends Del is trying his best to be positive, whilst facing an uncertain future, despite a new baby on the way. Each story is punctuated by his deteriorating body reminding him of his fears for the future. An excellent book!!! All the best Del!!!

Quality book about a top guy which incorporates his acceptence and realisation of how his life is changing as each day goes by and how he is determined to make the most of all these days. Talks also about some happy events amongst the dreadful news. Would recommend this book to anybody. Added to that all the proceeds go to a great cause.
