Melissa Rose, and orphan from Grandview is expecting the worst. Parents just seem to not want her as their child. Her only friend is Gwyneth, a ghost who died in the orphanage before Melissa was even born. Finally things start to look bright for Melissa. A loving couple adopts her, she has a brother and a boy, Ned, starts to notice her.
