"Perfect for travel and dining out" I love this journal! It is the perfect size to take along with you when dining out or traveling. The "notes" section of the journal is a great place to reflect upon and record feelings experienced during the day and make the connection between feelings and eating behaviors, etc. This is a great journal for the busy person.

"More is Less by Barb Deggans" From start to finish the journal provides essential guidelines and tracking measures to motivate the serious-minded dieters to shed those extra pounds and to become more active. Peppered between BMI and BMR measurements and daily logs are motivational quotes that inspire dieters ultimately to achieve their ideal weight.

"More is Less by Barb Deggans - Great Journal!"
I used this journal and found that it first assisted me to truely evaluate 'where I was' with my relationship to food by the section in the front. Then it helped me to moniter my daily interaction with food, my activity level and my 'mood, feelings, emotions' about it all through logging those things in each day. I think including all 3 of these thing on the food log was SO important!! The are completely intertwined! When you look back through the pages, you can find the things that are common to the days you didn't do as well and also the things that are common to the days you did do well and start to find ways to plan for more of the good... More > days that way!! I will bet that most will find, like me, that the days they were more active, they ate better and they felt better. And/or when you ate better in the morning, you were more active and then you felt better! LOL! They all affect each other! But that's not all that might be common to the good days and bad days. People you see, responsibilties, jobs, monthly cycles, etc. and just understanding that can help you so much!

Being accountable to someone else, and having her input initially was an incredible help to me! I am very thankful to had this journal and had the opportunity to work with Barb Deggans. Now I am finding that being accountable to myself (and the written page) is still the motivation I need ot drive me! < Less

"Convenient place to record calories and easy to use" This journal is convenient and easy to use. I jot down my daily calories, add my steps and can easily flip the page to a new day. It's full of tips about healthy snacks and portion size plus a concise calorie chart. I'd recommend this journal to anyone seriously ready to record their eating habits and eager to take control of their lives.
