I really enjoyed this collection of refreshingly candid and meaningful narrations about scenes, events, people and places in England. The author shares her personal reflections with warmth, humour and insight. Well worth reading!

"A deeply touching compilation of personal observations" I really enjoyed each and every story in this book, where the author describes England through real life and personal narrations. I laughed at the candidly direct observations that were written in a witty, light hearted style and I shared in the profoundly thought provoking incidents that are real for us all as human beings. I could not put this lovely book down!

Very enjoyable reading! Each cameo of an event, scene or character shines a light into a variety of facets of our daily living. It prompts one to stop for a moment and listen a little more attentively to the sounds of nature and people. Those fleeting moments may be lost as we speed around in our busy world while shutting out life. The author captures those moments of seeing and hearing the world around her in an articulate, sensitive and authentic way. This book is inspirational and written with spiritual awareness.

Now I want to go and see England! A distinctive style of writing by this author, where warmth, simplicity, depth and honesty combine to make a unique travel book. The narratives touch on subjects that are topical and universal with the added authenticity of this author's personal experiences. I was personally moved by the profoundly touching chapters about her mother's last days.

"Made me feel at home!" Although these chapters reflect the author's own personal experiences, I felt as though these were my feelings too. By revealing her own feelings the author has managed to reach out to her readership - so that each narration strikes a common chord where one can recognise similar sentiments and thereby express one's own voice in and through these beautifully written observations.
