"Noology "
Noology is a book I look at often, carry with me on trains & busses, leave lying around the house to be picked up at random. It is one of those rare books that can't be used up, can't be gotten to the bottom of. It exists in an unexplored area between writing and drawing, between verbal and visual. Noology sits almost at the edge of nothing while remaining very tangibly something. What something? This is the beauty of it: you look and you find what it is in the act of looking. Each time you enter the book it is different. You are not the same person you were the day before – or else the book has the magical ability to change itself when you're not looking.
