"Notes from his Contemporaries. A Tribute to Michael Hartnett"
I got an insight into Micheal Hartnett through his daughter, Lara. Before we met I was full of ignorance about the man. Her father. A short time ago Lara returned from the States after having attended the wedding of her brother, Niall Hartnett. She arrived with the book he had finished in her hand and agreed to let me borrow it. After reading it I feel I now know the man better. And the love he scattered around his beloved country. Niall, through this book, has managed to reveal the Iconic poet and father in a way Michael would have approved of-with a graceful dignity and truthfulness. The book is also supplimented with beautiful... More > photographs taken of the contributors by Niall himself. With every reading, the book grows in keeping with the poetic stature of the man himself. Michael Hartnett was/is one of the great poets of Ireland. This book is for those who perhaps need to be reminded of this fact. After reading it you will want to keep learning about this most beloved Irishman, Poet and father.

Your you father's son Niall.
