"Left Me Breathless!" Wonderful fully developed characters Jordan and Patrick and excellent descriptive narrative of places and settings. These 2 people only need to lock eyes to know that they want each other. Buth the author makes the reader wait patiently and then impatiently for the slow burn of an innocent virgin Jordon and a seasoned gay is kept on a simmer until the reader is gasping and screaming for more..more.. Incredibly Patrick must now woo our virgin and take baby steps if he wants to reach his ultimate goal. His gentle and considerate ways are touching. The dialogue is minimal but packs a punch! Their love when consummated is nothing short of breathtaking!Beautiful, sensual, touching, erotic.
Let us not forget that there is also a terrific story that is an added bonus for the reader! Looking forward to more..more..more from this author.

"Off the Record by Matthew Haldeman-Time"
Matthew Haldeman-Time is the first writer in months that manage to take me up till 3 in the morning while I try to finish his book in one session, and I can't. Cause Off the Record is, a part a wonderful book, also a very long book, as I like it.

Jordan is the son of a famous actress and the grandson of another famous actress and an important director. He has always lived a wealthy life and now he is a wel-known screen writer. He is also beautiful and gentle and... virgin! The Last Virgin of Hollywood. Yes, cause at 23 years old he has never had a life for his own. Every step is registered by the media. Is on the record.
... More > />Patrick is a young and talented and ambitious tv reporter specialized in the pop culture. He has met Jordan several time, but never had the real opportunity to know him. And he wants to know him, he wants to fuck him, he wants to defloure the last virgin of Hollywood.

In the first, while Patrick tried to seduce Jordan I was waiting for the goal: I wanted to read about the sex. But dinner after dinner, kiss after kiss, the teasing deriving by the seduction won, and at the end I was supporting Jordan in not surrender his virginity... the waiting was even better of the main course.

This is a wonderful book and I'm eagerly waiting for more by this talented author. < Less

"Great Read with true LOL passages" I bought Off the Record primarily to see the quality of production at Lulu. So first off, let me say the bound volume was equal to anything you might buy at Borders.
So is the content! This was just a fun read. Haldeman-Time, in the first pages of the book, manages to create and maintain a palpable tension between his main characters. Will they get together? Won't they? The reader, absorbed into the narrative, is as much in the dark as they are.
The sex scenes were a little more explicit than I expected, but what the heck. That's the joy of sex, catching your partner by surprise.

""Off the Record" - a can't miss read" It's hard to imagine a more satisfying read than Matthew Haldeman-Time's "Off the Record." Sensuous and steamy enough for those times when only a hot and sexy read will do, yet still solid, well constructed and character-driven enough that you're not ashamed of yourself in the morning. Haldeman-Time produces heroic characters so realistically flawed and utterly believable that I expect to meet them standing in line at the Starbucks on Santa Monica and Doheny.

Compulsively readable, you'll be tempted to gulp it down in one sitting, but sip this one slowly if you can. Take your time and "Off the Record" will reward you not only with gorgeous prose and turns of phrase you'll be hearing in your head for days, but characters that will live in your memory like old friends.
