Pacing the Moon is an exquisite journey into the vibrant sometimes dark tinted world of poet Sandy Green. Here, we encounter relationship issues as seen in the poem What Happens to Busy People ..."and I didn’t notice that my best friend had moved out of town and my husband went along for the ride" and Flying through the Valley, "I looked back, The hills had risen, jabbing the sun until it bled and stained the sheep red." The imagery in her poems is exceptional; flowers and nature are in abundance. I would highly recommend this chapbook, written with colorful imagery, metaphors, and intimate reflections.
