Minhaaj Rehman studies Master's program in Management in Umea University of Sweden. After having faced racism and discrimination in Sweden, in his despair he decided to hitch hike out of Europe to Turkey. As he fought the street dogs and border guards he passed through 8 countries in two months. He taught German in Slovenia, ran into hippies in Hungary, invited in by his rides for coffee in Bulgaria and wrote about the European culture from an eastern perspective. His stupifying cultural shocks, experiences of profound humanity, captivating story-telling mixed with incredible courage and endurance makes Param Yok an unforgettable tale of a young Pakistani student travelling in a paranoid world. He speaks 6 languages, have lived in Sweden, Germany and Pakistan and loves working as a teacher. Anthropology is his passion and travelling around he lives with the people he studies.
