Lulu Marketplace

The goal of this design is for the city of Pass Christian to develop a plan that works for the rebuilding phase as well as for future growth. The main focus is on creating a civic core that anchors each corner of the city, enhances the entrance to the city, and promotes healthy living and growth principles. Ideas from new urbanism have been used but so have modern planning ideals. The plan is not about radical change, but is more focused on preserving the previous condition of the city and applying healthy planning that encour- ages tourism and walkability.
