At first the book appears like a light read, with its bright cheery color and workbook style. Don't let it fool you. This book can help transform your life!(for the better) Each chapter offers exercises to complete that correlates with the subject and helps to bring home the message. Its one of those books you can put down for awhile and come right back to where you left off. Really enjoyed it.

"Pay Me Is Unique, Challenging & Well Worth It!"
BOOK REVIEW – by Donna Doucet

Pay Me What I’m Worth

Although a catchy title, it is an important one – to get paid what you are worth. The intriguing title is what first drew me to this book.

However, what kept me pressed to the pages were the personal steps outlined in each chapter that reminded me to take a personal inventory, renew my feeling of self worth, to always be fair, to realize and appreciate close friends, the importance of ethical behavior and the value of my time and experience.

Doing the exercises in each chapter allowed me to completely and fully examine each of... More > these personal steps. This was time consuming, but very worthwhile – each exercise gave me the opportunity to fully examine the task and to fully examine the results.

Reviewing my exercise results was very rewarding -- it reminded me that it works both ways – you should also pay others what they are worth. Being a compassionate, ethical, fair person who values time [for myself and others] is the key to being paid what I'm worth.

"Have you ever wondered how to make more money?"
Have you ever wondered how to make more money? In my work as an editor, I see four, maybe five good books a year. Pay Me What I’m Worth stands head and shoulders above the rest.

In an engaging conversational tone, Souldancer takes his reader step-by-step through ten chapters of solid, pragmatic advice. How do you determine what you’re worth? Take a look at section one, which helps you inventory your resources and your skills. An expert at brainstorming, Souldancer helps you identify resources you didn’t even know you had. Need a boost in self-confidence? You will learn how to interview... More > people for a reality check that will propel you toward your goal of earning what you’re worth.

In Exercise 14, he helps you Plan to be Lucky. Souldancer also understands the value of time as well as money, and offers tips and tricks to unclutter your life, your thoughts, and your calendar. Need a mentor? You will learn not only how to find a mentor but also how to get the most out of your relationship with a mentor. You may even end up with several mentors!

As you move forward with Souldancer’s help, you’ll discover not only your own invaluable worth and potential, but the worth and potential of those who surround you. You’ll learn how to hold others accountable for their commitments to you, how to free yourself from those who do not make good on their commitments, and how your own ethical behavior adds value to your worth. This man has been there, and he is willing to share the richness of his personal experience with you.

I delighted in Souldancer’s invitation to savor the book and luxuriate in it, but still, I found myself eager to participate in each new exercise and add pages to what he calls my Worth Passport. It also seemed to me that his suggestion to join one of his study groups would add further value to his program for developing your potential to its fullest. I look forward to more work from this promising and upbeat leader with his gentle insistence that everyone should be paid what they’re worth.

Buy this book, it is worth every penny and then some. I liked this book and learned about myself so much that I am in the process of getting my certification so that I can share the content of this book with others. Don't just read it . . . work it! If all you do with this book is read it, it will be time well spent and you will gain many valuable insights. But this is not a book that's just to be read. It's a workbook, and if you actually follow the instructions and go through the processes and exercises described in the book, you will reap infinitely more benefits. You will have a better understanding of the entire concept of "worth," how it applies to yourself, and how it applies to others. You will be looking at the world differently, and in a much more productive fashion. You will find and appreciate treasures that were there all along, but that you either didn't know you had or had forgotten about. So buy this book (and a bunch of Post-It® notes) and prepare to go on your own treasure hunt. You'll be amazed at what you'll find.
