My son is failing English and I think that this workbook could really help. I've done a couple of the exercises myself to see if I could understand it and I can. I think this should be rated for almost any age group. I would love to know what other books this author has written and plans to write.
I give two thumbs up to the author of this fun filled book of learning. Phat English is a wonderful teaching tool filled with countless activities. I plan to purchase this workbook for my son to help with his learning disability.
Exercise 24 is one of the many exercises from this work book. It has cross word puzzles and fill in the blanks. This is a fun activity I think everyone will love to do, young and old. If a subject is fun, students will learn more. Phat English is filled with different activities that help stimulate the mind.
Phat English is a “must have” by teachers everywhere. It is not only used to teach non English speaking individuals, but it is also good for students having speech problems. The use of hip hop and lyrics to remember the words within the activities were just brilliant.
The writer used common everyday words in each lessons to help the students learn better. In Exercise 11, the author uses remote control, complete, devil, and circus to match them with their syllable and letter count. I love that every lesson is easy to learn and written on a level for everyone. This is a good workbook for teachers to use while teaching some of their students.
