This book is not for you. It isn’t for those closest to me. It isn’t even for myself. This book is an offering to the altar of honest relationship. Being in real relationships with people requires full disclosure and trumps any notion of “personal stuff.” To have those real, raw relationships it becomes necessary to reach into uncomfortable places. These poems reveal all my doubt, my insecurity, my most intense depression, and everything one normally keeps to oneself. This is as honest as I can be.
