"The Lingering Rose" I like this one the most. Not really sure why but it stood out. I look forward to reading more of your work.

"Harry" Harry, I've just completed my own 2 poetry books here at Lulu, and was browsing to see if I could find anyone else I knew. I remembered you telling us about your book but hadn't realized this was where it was. I just wanted to give my vote of confidence, and say that you are an excellent poet and story teller, and I'm certain you will do well with this project.

"Wow" I am not a big poetry guy, but I checked out your preview and I am ordering the book for my wife. 4 years of college without a single poem ever hitting me the way your first sample did.. Maybe I am just getting old. Great stuff.

"The book that brought me here.." This is the book that made me write a book and put it on Lulu.

"Poetry w/o pretense" it advertised.

Which is very true( I am a poet chock full of pretense- so after reading the review I felt a tad bit "disinfected").

"Poetry for the COMMON MAN." the title proceeds to offer.

"Right on." You say to yourself- as you are a COMMON MAN(or woman as the case may be).

But you read a bit about the author- anything but common.

You think to yourself-" A professor of microbiology wrote THIS?"

I imagine microbiology would put the world in a bit of "perspective" so to speak- but the man has found his calling in poetry, and the world would be a lesser place if he stopped.
