Quite simply, this is the best book on tactics ever written. I have studied many tactics books, most written by famous authors, but this one stands alone above all others. Farnsworth's achievement here is stunning. The man knows chess, and most importantly, he knows how to impart that knowledge to others. I believe most readers will learn more about chess in one hour with this book than they will by laboring endless hours through the convoluted texts of typical chess books. I hope Mr. Farnsworth will apply his talents to other phases of the game in the future and reward us with new studies which will bring clarity to such areas as the endgame, openings, and strategy.

"An excellent chess tactics tutorial" I am reading the web version of this book and find it very helpful. It gives very detailed systematic understandable explanations of chess tactics. In addition, when a tactic is not readily apparent, it also explains how to force the opponent into a position that allows you to execute it. I think this book is destined to become a chess classic. I highly recommend it.
