A lovely collection of observations about work in the domestic arena of England. Each chapter is a cameo of an event, insight, character and scene. The author describes the beauty of Scotland during her short time spent near Aberdeen - it was one of my favourite chapters. Light hearted, sincere, truth telling and filled with insights - a great book!

This is another truly SUPERB work of art from this author!!! I wish I had one tenth of her vast talent! This was another book I couldn't put down! Extremely thought provoking, insightful, charming and just WONDERFUL!!! Also a very easy read! After telling friends and family about this as well as her other books, they are buying them! I hope she keeps up the wonderful work!!!
