Rosalind Mayhew, Roz to her friends and family, is a woman coming to terms with life after twenty years of marriage and increasing disappointment with her husband Jonathan. One thoughtless act by Jonathan brings Roz to a conclusion: time to leave? But to where? And to what life? With daughter Molly making a new life overseas, Roz's maxims become increasingly important, as does her friendship with Linda, a work colleague. Slowly, Roz begins to find greater confidence, until a chance meeting presents her with an even bigger decision.
