Scars on the heart is an inspiring book about a woman who was an abused spouse who freed herself from the nonsense and undeserved abuse that greeted her everyday. Alcohol abuse and the frustration of responsibility was a problem for her spouse and he took that frustration out on the person who was dedicated to him and willing to do whatever it took to make him comfortable and happy. She finally found that man but she bacame his widow after he suffered a heart attack. Erma truly believes that living in fear is never an option and should never be accepted. No one deserves to live in fear. Erma encourages everyone who reads her book to find their happiness, be safe and live life the way God intended for them to. I love this book.
