"Halo of Horror 5 Stars" Altus Press has produced a book that has the look and feel of the old pulp magazines. Both the writing style and story are creative and exciting. The author of “Halo of Horror” has the unique ability to turn a phrase like the old pulp authors and, indeed, this new adventure of Secret Agent “X” reads like a story straight out of the 1930s! All of the Agent’s history is here, and he is in top form as this full-length novel takes the reader back to another time. Unlike so many of the modern day writers, who know nothing about the character or series they are attempting to recreate, the reader quickly knows that “Halo of Horror” was written by an author steeply versed in the character’s history and background. The team of Altus Press and Mr. Brant House can be congratulated on a job well done. Don’t miss this book, it should be added to everyone’s bookshelf! (Tom Johnson, author of “The Secret Agent “X” Companion”)

This is one of several new Secret Agent X novels from this author.

I really hope that Altus Press releases the others in this same format.
