Very good book.
I made my PhD on software radio for underwater communication and this book was a precious help.

Behrouz has done a great service to all students who need both practical and theoretical underpinnings of software radio. This book published via pdf for $12.95 is a major departure from the ridiculous $100+ for a book one might open a few times a year. Please follow the link below:

This link is a must as there are typos. Had this been a $100+ book, it would have received expert editorial review. Forget it. This belongs on the shelf of everyone who is writing SDR code. It has helped me with DttSP, GnuRadio, and in teaching my SDR courses at multiple universities (where I used pre-published versions of the notes). THANK YOU Behrouz!

Thanks Dr. McGwier. I am delighted with the attention that this contribution has received in the past six months. It appears that the book has many users, which makes me (as an educator) really happy.
As a note, I keep updating the book and removing the typos. The current version of the book has a lot less typos compared to what was first published in December 2008.
