I'm endlessly fascinated by creepy local lore so finally seeing a book dedicated completely to the legend of the Snallygaster was quite intriguing. I promptly purchased a copy and it did not disappoint. It is a very thorough history of the creature and all the sightings though the years. A fun read for anyone in the Frederick, DC, or Baltimore area.

Anyone that is interested in ghostly folklore or well told yarns will be delighted by the writer's ability to pull you into the era from which the stories first emerged in the early 1900's
